1931 Hudson Essex Touring Car Magazine Ad
The Hudson Car Co was based in Detroit Michigan from 1909-1954. The car was named after J L Hudson a Detroit business man who provided start up money for the company. The goal of the company was to make a car that would sell for under $1000. The Hudson co was known for many innovative firsts in the auto industry including dual brakes, generator warning lights, crankshafts and more. In 1954 it merged with Nash Kelvinator but lost out to the new car of the future the American Rambler. For more great Hudson and other car ads please visit www.Classicadshop.com
